Dunmore Country School began in 2009, when Tanguy and Isabelle de Toulgoët decided to share their passion for growing food, living sustainably, and celebrating the connection between garden, kitchen, and community. From a one-acre kitchen garden in Co. Laois, we’ve built a place where people come not only to learn but to reconnect—with nature, with food, and with each other.

Tanguy
de Toulgoët 

Tanguy, raised on a French farm, brings decades of knowledge in horticulture and sustainable gardening. His expertise in no-dig methods and biodiversity-friendly practices makes growing food both abundant and easy. 

Isabelle
de Toulgoët 

Isabelle brings warmth, hospitality, and creativity to every course. Whether preparing seasonal lunches, teaching preservation techniques, or leading French classes, she adds the cultural and culinary layer that makes Dunmore truly unique.
